Earlier this week, I shared some my experiences of healing on my own vs doing it with a coach.
On my own, I learned invaluable resilience,
perseverance and so much more.
But this skill of LOVING MYSELF through all the mistakes, failure, and disappointments that inevitably came up as I kept saying yes to my soul’s vision-- that’s a mature spiritual quality that I needed help with.
On my own, I could hustle my way through the challenging emotions.
I’d feel bad about myself but keep going.
But it was painful--sometimes brutally
so.
And it slowed me down.
Without realizing it, I would avoid taking certain steps my Soul was guiding me to take because, ultimately, I was afraid of what I would think about myself and how I would feel if my attempts were unsuccessful.
But learning to have my own back ensured that I kept stretching past my comfort zone, which is, of course, what our Soul is always guiding us to do.
I risked embarrassment, being dismissed, judged or just plain ignored as I put myself out there.
It’s an ongoing practice for sure.
So, my dears, notice if loving yourself through your expansion is a skill you’re being guided to master.
I’m sending you so much love as you continue on this brave journey of sharing your Soul’s medicine with the world.
Blessings,
Lisa
