In my client sessions this week, I've been talking a lot about the power of making mini-shifts throughout the day.
Time after time, my clients brought up the desire to experience more peace, more motivation, or more trust as they take courageous steps forward.
In each instance, the answer has been a version of slowing down to make mini-shifts that make HUGE differences.
These
mini-transformations nearly always entailed changing a thought they were thinking about a circumstance.
Your intellect can argue that changing your thoughts won't make a difference.
Or that you don't have time to do this, but actually taking the
time to shift your thoughts (which are truly just sentences in your head) can either align you with fear or love.
Really take that in.
Imagine going through your day from a place of love, as opposed to going through your day from a place of
fear.
For example, if you're constantly thinking, "I'm behind", you won't see the important progress you've already made and you will get more behind.
If you're thinking "I can't handle this", you'll feel more overwhelmed and this will make it harder for you to "handle it".
If your thought is a version of, "I don't know enough", you're brain will have a hard time accessing the wisdom you already have.
As I coached my clients, I helped them slow down enough to notice what thought was creating the most friction in their life.
I then helped them make a plan, so that throughout the day they remembered to redirect their mind to powerful thinking that would help them get the results they want.
For examples thoughts like,
I can handle this.
I've done much more harder things than this.
Look at how far I've come.
As we talked, my clients realized that these mini-shifts could be the MOST PRODUCTIVE thing for them to do.
So, my dears, notice what thought is bringing up fear and then decide what thought would actually help you take the empowered action you need to take.
Then, and this is the most important part, take mini-pauses throughout your day to practice thinking that thought.
These mini-shifts will help you create great momentum in your fulfillment, service and leadership.
You will then be able to help
with more impact while creating a life you love, no matter the challenges that arise.
