My daughter Lisa got married this past weekend!
When she first told me the date—October 25th—I immediately realized it would be exactly one year from the day Greg was diagnosed with
cancer.
From that moment, I held the vision that Greg would be healthy and able to attend the wedding.
What a year it has been—so much shedding… old identities, fears, limiting beliefs, deep core wounds.
Although the cancer journey isn't completely over, we've crossed important milestones.
And my vision came to be!
Last week, we flew to San Antonio for a week full of wedding festivities.
In the midst of it all, I celebrated my 51st birthday—and it truly feels amazing.
Greg and I were both there—radiant and healthy. Lisa’s wedding was absolutely
beautiful.
I got to be surrounded by all five of my children and my sweet granddaughter, Lila.
At the reception, we built a Día de los Muertos ofrenda to honor our ancestors, and I was deeply honored to lead the opening blessing to welcome all the guests and bless Lisa and Sam’s marriage.
We danced, laughed,
and cried happy tears.
I’ve always said that when our children pass through a major life thresholds we do too. And it feels so true now. I have two daughters who are married, and two incredible sons-in-law.
Now back home in Mexico, I feel like a different person—renewed and expanded. As my daughter steps into this new phase of her life, I step into mine
too.
✨ More leadership.
✨ More service.
✨ More joy.
And I’m so excited to keep helping you cross your own thresholds as you continue to build your own legacy of love and impact.
Blessings,
Lisa
