Dear helper,
Today is the final day of the Year of the Snake. (Click HERE to register for today's special class honoring this day)
A threshold day.
A day for shedding what no longer fits.
This is the day to release old identities.
The ones not meant to walk with you into the coming
year.
The ones that quietly interfere with your service, leadership, creativity, and impact.
As helpers, these identities often sound like:
• The one who sacrifices her joy for others
• The one who always says yes
• The one who
stays in the background
• The leader who holds back from fully claiming her authority
• The one who waits to be rescued
• The eternal student who never steps into the teacher role
• The one who conforms so she won’t disappoint
• The one afraid of the visibility success brings
• The one who tells herself she can’t handle the responsibility of helping more people
• The one who constantly compares
• The one who doubts her worth
• The one perfectionism keeps frozen
• The one who hides her creativity
• The one who delays sharing her gifts until
everyone else is taken care of
• The one endlessly patient with others but harsh with herself
• The one who believes circumstances are stronger than her
• The one terrified of judgment, rejection, abandonment, or being ignored
I could keep going.
These are not personal
flaws.
They are inherited roles, handed down to helpers, especially women, for generations.
And if you’re wondering whether you count as a helper, you do.
Whether you’re a therapist, business owner, retired, on a healing sabbatical, or somewhere in between—if you have the capacity to uplift others, to see potential, to inspire, to model
what’s possible, to share your art, your healing work, your innovations, your intuitive knowing—you are a helper.
For years, helpers have been conditioned to put others first.
Disguised as goodness, this conditioning creates what I call the Martyr Helper.
And while it may look noble on the outside, it quietly keeps
helpers small.
Instead of being seen, reaching many, and having the impact they’re here to have, so many helpers remain the best kept secret.
But staying a secret isn’t why you’re here.
You’re meant to be visible.
You’re meant to lead.
Not to show off.
Not to seek attention for selfish reasons.
But to be findable.
Visibility is how those meant to receive your gifts can actually find you.
Leadership is how your medicine reaches further than your immediate circle.
Authority is not ego—it’s responsibility.
So today, on this final day of the Year of the Snake, I invite you to gather with intention.
Join me for a free Meditation for Helpers where we will gently release what no longer serves you, shed the old identities you’ve outgrown, and reconnect with the leader and creative visionary you already
are.
No forcing.
No fixing.
Just remembering.
Because no one else carries your Soul’s medicine.
And the world needs its fullest expression now.
With love,
Lisa
