The Challenges & Blessings of This Summer

Tomorrow's solar eclipse feels like a perfect ending (or almost ending) to the tranformational summer a lot of us have had. Many of my clients and students have been in the midst of incredible shifts that, although difficult, have brought many lessons and
blessings.
These courageous women have faced ending of relationships, major shifts in careers, unexpected illnesses, and many other challenges while staying committed to their Soul's guidance about how they are meant to express their Soul's medicine (the unique way you bring healing to others) in the world.
This summer has been hard and full of blessings for me as well. One the one hand, my oldest son graduated high school and will be going
away to college next week. Now, he's not the first child to "leave the nest". My three daughters are in college already. And when each of them entered college I went through different levels of sadness and grief as I recognized that one stage of my mothering ended. Read more. |

This past Mother's Day with all the kids. Enjoying having them all back in "the nest", if only for a
short time.
Follow-Up to Blessings & Challenges of Summer
|
First, create some sacred space. This can be as simple as imagining a circle of light around you, or you can play some beautiful music, light a candle, hold a crystal, or whatever feels sacred to
you.
Remember tomorrow, 8/21/ is the solar eclipse you can use the energy of this powerful event to magnify your inner journey.
You might want to have a journal with you as you ask your Soul these questions. Then just let yourself receive. It’s OK if at first it seems like you don’t receive any guidance. The most important thing is for you to ask your Soul these questions with clear intention, and then trust that you will receive the guidance at the right time. Often the guidance shows up when you are not actively seeking it, like when you’re in the shower, or driving. Remember that your Soul wants to help you
and will give you the guidance you are seeking.
So lets begin.
Bring the palms of your hands over your heart center and take
some nice cleansing breaths. Then ground yourself by visualizing beautiful mother earth underneath your feet and say something like this:
Beautiful Soul,
Show me the blessings of this
summer.
Show me how this has expanded my Soul’s medicine.
Is there anything I need to release to fully embrace the fall harvest that is coming?
Anything else?
Thank your Soul whether you consciously received the guidance you’re looking for or not. Trust that it
will come to you at the right time and int he right way for you.

The feel of this August* gathering will be similar to last months but I am also changing it to provide more spaciousness of time for deeper transformation and connection (on all levels, with your Soul, with each other, with your

season so that you are moving in the direction that your Soul is guiding you to
