One of the most powerful clues on how you are meant to help the world, is to ask yourself the following question,
What has my life trained me to
be?
I first heard this question from my priestess teacher and mentor, Elayne Kalia
Sophia. She reminded me that the most important training is not the training that you go to school for, but rather the training that your life has provided for you.
The truth is that you teach what you came here to learn. For instance, my life's work is about helping others connect with their Soul and my life has trained me, through various challenging times, to listen to my Soul above everyone else's (including my ego's) voice.
The biggest struggles I faced in life
where those instances when the outside world told me to go in one direction but my Soul insisted that I take the road less traveled. Getting a divorce, leaving an established career, following alternative healing routes to my daughter's unexpected illness--those have all been incredibly difficult journeys of saying yes to my Soul's guidance above everything else.
